This event will be ill.gates first San Francisco and USA based performance in about a year, and first since his album dropped last November. His tracks with Meesha; ‘Irma Vep’, ‘Sweatshop’ and ‘Eggplantation’ are some of the most played in the current glitch hop / midtempo breaks / instrumental hip hop scenes, and his recent remixes of Eprom and Sub Swara show that he is only just getting started. ill.gates is becoming an artist whose production values stand apart from the pack, whether it’s low down and crunky or banging urban dubstep.
Come and hear what new gems ill.gates has been working on for 2009, at a night along with Muti Music headman Dov and two of the fastest rising Muti Music all stars; Mimosa and Knowa Knowone. All performers will be doing special Ableton live sets.
